All of our pieces are hypoallergenic, lead and nickel free.
By following these simple care tips, you can help extend the life of your jewellery. As with all things, the better you look after your jewellery, the longer it will last and maintain it's lustre.
- Although our jewellery is water resistant, we do recommend that you keep it dry and avoid wearing your jewellery while swimming, showering or doing any activity that involves water.
- Avoid chemicals such as perfumes, hand sanitisers, moisturisers, hairsprays, oils, lotions, cleaning products and chlorine, these can all cause a chemical reaction damaging your jewellery.
- If your jewellery comes into contact with chemicals, you can rinse it with fresh water and wipe it dry with soft cloth.
- Apply your beauty products and let them dry first before putting on your jewellery.
- Store your jewellery in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, and preferably in a jewellery box or a soft cloth bag. Avoid storing it with other jewellery pieces, especially those made of other metals, as they may scratch the gold plating.
- Clean it gently. We recommend using a soft, non-abrasive cloth to gently polish and clean the surfaces of your jewellery. Do not rub aggressively as this may cause scratching or damage to your piece.
- Avoid rubbing and impact with hard surfaces as much as possible: Avoid rubbing your jewellery with abrasive materials, such as rough cloths or sponges. We recommend that you remove your jewellery when doing household chores.
- Please note that everyone’s skin varies in PH levels. The oils in your skin may have a higher level of acidity than others, which may cause your jewellery to oxidise and cause discolouration.
- It is also important to understand that all metals, including solid gold, oxidise naturally with time and will require maintenance. Therefore we recommend that you clean each piece as often as you can to remove unwanted chemicals and ensure longevity of your jewellery.
